I am proud to announce I am now a dealer for IonBond.  I think this product will allow me to focus on accuracy first by keeping the tolerances tight like they should be and keeping the firearm running smooth and fast.  My custom rifles have a bolt bore race way tolerance of .001 to .0015 on each side, 2 times tighter than most custom actions made today.  They are each hand fitted and with the use of Ionbond, creates a self lubricating, non-binding, non-galling surface.  Because of it's nature to absorb oil, if the bolt and action get filled with dirt and grime, you can simply wipe off and keep running without the use of any additional lube.  All custom builds include at no charge IonBonded Bolts.  Prices available now on our gunsmithing services page.

What is IonBond's Diamond BLACK?
This is a firearms finish that is applied through a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) and\or PA-CVD (Plasma Assisted Chemical Vapor Deposition) process. This results in a finish that will provide years of protection against wear while retaining the original appearance.

Why should I have my firearm coated in IonBond's Diamond BLACK?
IonBond PVD coatings directly improve wear resistance due to their high hardness, low coefficient of friction and high structural integrity. These coatings with thicknesses of only a few microns (µ), with hardness up to 4000hv (vickers), resulting in significantly increased firearm life and functionality.

Is Ionbond a “self lubricating” finish?
The Ionbonded finishes, absorb oil and release it over time due to the unique characteristics. 

The PT-1 AX  $1473.00

The PT-1 AX is the same as our PT-1 but upgraded to the AX 2.0 Chassis.  It is our best effort to creat a working rifle that has the new shooter in mind.  This rifle has key components that any real working rifle should have to allow the shooter to run the rifle to it's fullest  abilities and fit the shooter properly.  Built on your supplied Remington 700 SPS Varmint or SPS Tactical.  We will place it in an Accuracy international AX 2.0 Stock with both an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable Length of Pull in color of choice with one 5 round mag.  We will Lap the lugs and cut an M40A1 style match crown.    We have had great success with this for new shooters and it lays the groundwork for when the shooter is ready to go full custom.
